The Network Implementation Services, a Division of Wells Fargo Services Company, servicing the entire Wells Fargo territory, required an Intranet site with 2 main goals in mind.
Firstly to provide education and information to their staff in one centralized location. Once again a database driven front end was used. Staff members can view and save documents and files relating to internal procedures and guidelines. A division recognition page was also created for staff announcements.
Administration functionality includes adding/ editing and removing Guidelines and Resources, Profile administration, adding/ editing and removing accomplishments and adding/ editing and removing regions.
Secondly to track their staffs performance in the eyes of the end user. Once a job is completed the engineer is then expected to send a Client Satisfaction Survey, via the web site. This is delivered to the client/s via email with an explanation and a clickable link. The client completes the survey and the database records the scores. It also emails the district manager if a follow-up call is required.
On the administrative side of the site, survey reports can be viewed by region (YTD and monthly), Team Member (YTD and monthly) or Job number. These reports are also emailed to appropriate personnel at the end of each month. Scores can be used for performance tracking and yearly ratings, to identify potential problem team members or areas and to give an overall fell of how the department is perceived by the end user.
